This high end residential project required a major overhaul of an existing 20-year-old property located in a highly desirable location just a short stroll from Martin Street. The new design added a second level with a master suite, parents retreat and study, whilst on the ground floor opened up the old floor plans to create generous open plan living spaces in what was previously a highly compartmentalised layout, with new large operable doors which invite the views from the garden and connect the terrace area to the living spaces. The appointment of tasteful finishes, fixtures and appliances round off the internal transformation. The new works also involved the extensive upgrade of the building fabric to provide year-round thermal comfort and vastly reduce energy usage which is reflected in the buildings energy star increase from one to six stars.
